The Friction

In 2008, the film industry's supply chain broke. As the market shifted from physical DVDs to digital streams, there was no infrastructure to manage rights, royalties, or file delivery at scale.

The Kernel (The Architecture)

Kyle Jackson stepped in during the formative years to serve as the Chief Information Officer. We helped architect ContentBridge, the "logic layer" that automated the supply chain for the digital era.

The Studio's Role

We focused on building the technical rails that would allow the business to scale.

  • The Build: We digitized the supply chain for major studios and defined the standards for delivery to platforms like iTunes and Netflix.
  • The Handoff: By 2012, the "operating system" was stable. We stepped away from operations as the founders shifted focus to massive capital deployment and IP acquisition.

The Legacy

That early infrastructure allowed GoDigital to scale into a multinational media conglomerate with over $1B in capital raised. While the studio no longer operates the controls, the digital rails we laid in those early years provided the scalable foundation for a global media ecosystem.
