Scaling the Physical OS
East End Studios — 2010–2023
Architecting the physical operating system for modern creative production

Overview
East End Studios scaled the Siren prototype to world-class infrastructure for the world's top technology and media companies. We integrated a digital-first architecture with intelligent space design, making the build itself part of the creative and intelligence execution layer.
The Challenge
Traditional studio real estate was designed for yesterday's workflows. Sound stages were analog. Network infrastructure was an afterthought. Buildings couldn't adapt to the speed of digital production.
As content creation exploded—from Netflix originals to Buzzfeed's media empire—the industry needed smart campuses where fiber, data, and flexibility were built into the walls.
The Thesis
Digital tools need physical homes. We didn't just design buildings; we architected "innovation operating systems" where the real estate adapts to the workflow. The future of infrastructure isn't static—it's programmable, modular, and intelligent.
The Solution
We designed and built over 1 million square feet of innovation campuses that functioned as "physical operating systems." Every square foot was architected around workflow—from 10Gbps+ fiber backbones to flexible stage configurations that could transform overnight.
